Introduction
This Munro stands alone as the most westerly within
the wild expanse of the Monadh Mountain range.
An interesting drive from Laggan (via a minor
single track road) takes you up by the roots of the River Spey
to the starting point at Garva Bridge. This offers stunning
views as you drive by the Spey Dam.
All in all this mountain may not be the most shapely
or challenging but the immense scenery in the surrounding area
more than makes up for this. I'll certainly consider it a place
worthy of a return visit for low-level walks or mountain biking. |
